Two in Thailand

After raising three children and watching them graduate from college, Bob and Carol decided to leave the educational field and pursue a dream that had been put on hold for 35 years (since graduationg from the University of Northern Iowa). "Two in Thailand" is the journal dedicated to that dream - to serve in the Peace Corps. This is a personal blog. The opinions expressed within do not necessarily represent the views of the Peace Corps or the United States Government.

It's Off To The Market.

When we get on our song taao, we never know who we will be riding with. Today, I was a little chicken to ride it, but I knew that I would ride it again. I felt sorry for my new friends because it will be their last ride. (Click on the picture to make it larger ---- the smaller versions in our blog seem to get a little blurry, but the large photos are very sharp.)

No, they are chickens. The chickens in Thailand seem to be a lot smaller than their American counterparts. The same can be said about cats. The cats here are very small, and most of them have tails that are much shorter than cats in the U.S.
